Valence d’Agen: let’s go to the Christmas village and its ice rink

“D” day for the start of this week with the Christmas village installed on Place J.-B.-Chaumeil, in Valence d’Agen (Tarn-et-Garonne).

The ice rink was set up at the start of the week just like the chalets, the technical services of the town hall are also hard at work, those of the CC2R are preparing the hall for New Year’s Eve, the end of 2024 is busy with the activities offered to Valencians and residents of the area.
The first traders have already settled in the chalets allocated to them. Yesterday afternoon, the rain came but today, for the first day, the cold will return and no big black clouds in sight.
The doors of the small Village will open at 2 p.m., with the two rides at just 1 euro, the chalets, the refreshment bar and the ice rink will be available to snow sports enthusiasts who will be able to have fun, and that they can rest assured, even with mild temperatures and rain, the ice will not melt, they will still be able to have fun without fear on an area of ​​200 m². In Valencia, this will be a first, but offering such entertainment during the end-of-year holidays is a very good idea.
Met yesterday morning, the new president Gianni Soriano, of the AC2R, newly elected, was optimistic. “I am sure that we will have a lot of people, we are doing everything we can to ensure that these events that we are organizing with the support of the CC2R and the town hall are as successful as they should be, whether it is the Christmas market, the Christmas village and New Year’s Eve.”

For catering, the Terre et Mer caterer will offer different dishes every day:
Friday: aligot-sausage, hamburger-cheddar fries, raclette sandwich with cold meats.
Saturday: cheddar hamburger-fries, aligot-truffade sausage, Greek sausage-fries.
Sunday: sandwich with entrecôte sauce, meat and fries, tartiflette, hamburger and cheddar fries.
Monday: hamburger, cheddar fries, duck breast and salardaise potatoes.
Tuesday: free-range pig and braised ham and fries, hamburger and fries.
Wednesday: hamburger-cheddar fries, aligot-sausage.
Thursday: free-range chicken and fries, free-range pig, hamburger and fries. Friday: entrecôte sauce sandwich with meat and fries, hamburger and cheddar fries, Greek fries.
Saturday: Greek fries, hamburger and cheddar fries, paella royale.
Sunday: tartiflette, hamburger and fries, Greek fries.
