The Christmas crib triples in size south of Caen for its 3rd edition of existence

South of Caen (Calvados), in the village de Bougya Christmas crib awaits enthusiasts of Christmas magicin this month of December 2024.

Six weeks of work to create the crèche

These are five volunteers from the Bougy Bouge association who carried out the project. It is in the church of the municipality that the space offered to the public was developed.

The different spaces are proportional to the size of the characters : paths, meadows, cliffs, waterfalls, everything is carefully done.

The nursery is three times bigger than the first year. It took five people six weeks to develop it. Everything comes from recovery or our manufacturing.

Visible every day until January 2

“We get our supplies from attic fairs,” continues Patrick Taflet. ” We have a model enthusiast among us. We work without a planwe create and progress as we go along with the material we have. In the decor we find the wash house and the village church. We have already ideas for next year“. A wish tree is available to visitors. A brain pass offers children the opportunity to see themselves as three wise men.

The church is open until January 2, 2025every day from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
