It all started on Sunday December 15, 2024 around 5:30 p.m., when a police patrol spotted two individuals with suspicious behavior in the area of the Part-Dieu SNCF station, in the 3rd arrondissement of Lyon.
The police carried out a check, and thus succeeded in discovering the loot from the caravan thefts, including a bulletproof vest and handcuffs.
The duo was arrested, taken into police custody and then convicted by the courts.
Shady behavior
The two men spotted by police officers on patrol in the busy area from the Part-Dieu station were seen hiding behind a pole to look, without being worried, at what was in a computer bag.
The duo then rushed into the line B metro station. The police quickly decided to take action by launching a control directly on the dock.
The discoveries then followed one another.
Weapons and stolen items
In the bag where a computer was present, there was also a large tear gas canister. One of the individuals was also in possession of a switchblade knife, and damning evidence was found in his sports bag.
Alongside a cell phone were a bulletproof vest and a pair of handcuffs used by the national police.
Enough to arrest the two suspects and place them in police custody.
