Bandol in ski resort mode, santon fair in Ollioules… These 4 Christmas markets around which will also delight you

Bandol goes into winter time with, for the first time, a real Christmas market on the Quai Charles-de-Gaulle, with eleven chalets reminiscent of ski resorts.

Cabins and chairlifts for resting and eating indoors have also been set up, next to the gourmet chalets.

Among the warm and comforting products offered by traders: raclette sandwich, sausage pancakes, pancakes, waffles and mulled wine of course.

And to stay in the mountain atmosphere, a synthetic ice skating rink is installed on the bowling green of the bandstand, Allée Vivien.

The inauguration will take place on Saturday, December 21, at 11 a.m., with magicians, makeup artists and balloon sculptors. Free and open access, skates provided, until January 5, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Many activities are also organized on Quai De-Gaulle, from the Provençal pastoral (Saturday December 21, 3 p.m.) to the arrival of Santa Claus in pointy by the sea, welcomed by a fantastic procession (Tuesday December 24, 4 p.m.), passing by the drone show offered by the port of Bandol (Tuesday December 31, 6 p.m.). Without forgetting the Three Kings (Saturday January 4 and Sunday January 5, between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.).

La Londe is banking on free ice rink and entertainment

The monumental parade of the large animated horse Pegasus in the streets of La Londe made a strong impression on December 7.

Same success for the great lantern parade, where the procession lit up the streets of the city center to the sound of a musical enchantment.

Next meeting on Saturday December 21 for the official inauguration of the (free) ice-free ice rink on Place Charles-Camoin, with a light show.

Catering chalets, a children’s carousel and duck fishing will be installed around the ice rink.

The ride will be freely accessible for children on the evening of the inauguration, from 6:30 p.m., Place Charles-Camoin.

Inflatable structures and a mechanical reindeer-shaped rodeo will also be available from December 28 to 31, and the ride is free.

To combat the cold, hot chocolate and donuts are offered by the town hall.

And on Friday, December 27 (6:30 p.m., Place Charles-Camoin), the City is offering a fireworks show to say “Goodbye to Santa Claus”.

Nightlife at the Christmas village in Saint-Cyr

The town of Saint-Cyr opens the nightlife ball on Friday, December 20 at 7 p.m., at the Christmas village set up in the Gabriel-Péri parking lot.

To set the mood, a “dynamic and trendy” rock choir of 140 singers was invited. A concert followed by the arrival of Santa Claus (mulled wine and chocolate offered to all) and a DJ evening until 11 p.m.

Rebelote on Saturday December 21, this time with a figure skating show on the theme “Merry Christmas, ice show”, from 8:30 p.m., followed by DJ musical entertainment until 11 p.m.

Two other musical evenings are planned for Friday December 27 and Saturday December 28. Same time, same place.

“No Christmas market, no fireworks for the wow effect”, assumes the town hall. But activities for families, including the large ice rink, a climbing wall, wooden craft workshops, a toboggan run… “We favor gourmet chalets and fun activities, with large tables in the middle.” Let the party begin!

Respect for traditions in Ollioules

In the Provençal city, we don’t mess around with traditions. To bring back to life the magic of local customs, Lou Tiatre d’Oulièulo will present La Pastorale de rue, Monday December 23 from 5:30 p.m. A unique and festive performance which will enliven the streets of Ollioules, starting from the Frédéric-Mistral garden .

Espace Pierre-Puget also hosts Noël en Traditions, creative workshops for children up to 12 years old, on December 21 and 22 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

On the program: painting, drawings, makeup, pompoms and scoubidous.

And what would Nativity in Provence be without the santon fair and its nativity scene, which take place at the Vieux Moulin (65, rue Salengro), on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. (closed December 25).

Christmas in Provence takes place in the city of the olive tree.

The child kings of the party at Pradet
