– Two well-known names from Ligue 2, a less experienced coach… who will take over from Oswald Tanchot?

The news broke this Wednesday evening and surprised many observers: Oswald Tanchot will not be on the bench Foot 38 during the second part of the season Ligue 2. Laid off by the Isère management a few days before the 32nd final of the Coupe de against AS (N2), the former coach of Sochaux, or will have to be replaced during the exercise.

But then, which tactician is likely to come and take over from Tanchot? According to information from our colleagues at Grenoble Foot Info, three names have leaked in the last few hours. We find in particular that of Philippe Hinschbergerformer coach of GF38 (115 matches managed) who notably reached the second round of the play-offs in 2020-2021. Without a contract since his departure from Chamois Niortais, the man who had also been at the head of the Amiens professional group would be at the top of the Isère short-list.

The possibility of a return of Laurent Peyrelade is also mentioned. As a reminder, the former Ruthenois replaced Vincent Hognon last March and was then not reappointed by the Dauphinois leaders. Third and last name mentioned by GFI, that of the former coach of FC , Maxime d’Ornanowho would have offered his services to the GF38.

While Frédéric Gueguen should be in charge of the match against Cannes this Saturday, the current 12th in Ligue 2 has a little time to make a decision. We will now see if the chosen profile will settle down for an interim mission, or if he will manage to settle down permanently on one of the benches which recently proved to be one of the most slippery in the second division.
