Paddy Pimblett isn’t the only UFC lightweight to mention Benoît Saint Denis in recent days. The Frenchman’s former opponent, Dustin Poirier, recently returned to his fight with BSD. ‘The Diamond’ said he wasn’t taken to the ground during the round and a half they fought: “He never took me to the ground…I took myself to the ground by myself.” Here, the American is referring to the many times he attempted a guillotine when BSD would dive into his legs to bring him to the mat.
