The Fred-Aubert stadium, in Saint-Brieuc (Côtes-d’Armor) will be able to welcome the public to its new stand from this Saturday, during the French Cup match between Stade Briochin (N2) and Le Havre AC (L1).
The new grandstand at the Fred-Aubert stadium was delivered this week and the security commission today gave a favorable opinion on its opening to the public.
For Hervé Guihard, mayor of Saint-Brieuc, “the opening of this stand should allow a very beautiful popular celebration around the Stade Briochin for this 32e final of the French Cup. And this is made possible thanks to the excellent partnership that we have with the local State and the SDIS who have done everything possible, obviously in conjunction with the City services, to disrupt the
calendars and allow supporters to take their seats in this beautiful facility from Saturday. »
1079 seats
The new grandstand has 1,079 seats. “A particular effort was also made to the infrastructure under the stands with the expansion and modernization of the locker rooms and toilets. A weight room will also be put into service,” presents the City’s communications department, via a press release.
Stade Briochin will communicate soon to provide the conditions of access to the new stand.
The “East” stand, on the rue Anatole France side, has also been redesigned with the provision of storage rooms, new toilets and two refreshment bars. It is under this stand that the new entrance to the stadium will be located.
All of the work, worth 6 million euros including tax, will contribute to improving the aesthetic appearance of the stadium as well as the reception conditions.
Saturday, December 21, at 3:30 p.m., at the Fred-Aubert stadium. Stade Briochin will communicate to provide the conditions for access to the new stand.
