In , the Troyalac’h carpooling area will be accessible again this Friday

Launched on December 2, 2024, the preparatory work for the future installation of photovoltaic shades on the Troyalac’h carpooling area (57 places), in (Finistère), was due to end on Friday December 13, 2024. But weather and technical hazards caused a one-week delay in the construction site. Finally, the carpooling area will once again be accessible to motorists from “this Friday December 20, 2024 in the afternoon”, indicates the Finistère departmental council.

During this preparatory work, around fifteen 4.50 m holes were made to accommodate the posts of the future photovoltaic shade structures. West

This project is part of the transition plan of the Department of Finistère, adopted in December 2023. On the Troyalac’h carpooling area, the company Ombrières en Finistère will install 1,050 m² of photovoltaic panels, for a cost of €339,047.

Installation of the panels is planned for February 2025

These installations, with a power of 223 kWp, will produce around 240 MWh of electricity per year. The resale of this renewable energy should generate an annual turnover estimated at €27,814.

The assembly of the metal frame and the installation of the photovoltaic panels are scheduled from Monday February 3 to Friday February 21, 2025. The electrical connection is planned between February 24 and March 7, 2025.
