“Everyone honks at me, flashes their headlights at me, wants to take photos or videos of my car, the feedback is really nice!” testifies Jonathan Chevalier. Decorating your house for Christmas is a great classic at the end of every year. Decorating your car is much rarer, even if on social networks it is more and more common to see motorists showing off their vehicle completely dressed up for the holidays. This is the case of the car of Istrean Jonathan Chevalier.
“Decorated cars are a trend this year, but I haven’t seen a car as decorated as I am yet! I’ve always wanted to try it on my car to see what it does.explains this “light enthusiast”. “The more lights there are, the more amazed I am, and I did this on purpose so that people would see me.”
“When you are passionate, you don’t count”
It took him a month of work to decorate his car with 150 m of electric garlands, but also soft toys and gifts on the trunk. “I started mid-November. Every day after work, I thought about how to do it, I added elements,… it never stops, but when you are passionate, you don’t count”specifies the Istrian.
If Jonathan Chevalier drives everywhere with his Christmas car, he can no longer take the highway so as not to exceed 100 km/h and the decorations fly away. He tells us that he already plans to do it again next year: “Every year, this will be a project for me. I will try to do even better, although we will have to be careful with the budget because it gets expensive quite quickly.”
