Élisabeth and Éléonore radiate!

The festive season is in full swing in Brussels! Honoring the traditional Christmas concert organized in the heart of the Belgian capital on December 18, 2024, the royal family did not fail to impress the crowd. On this occasion, Albert II of Belgium, his wife Mathilde and their daughters Elisabeth and Eléonore appeared in their most beautiful seasonal looks, which inspire us for the festivities.

Radiant, the members of the royal family posed in front of perfectly decorated Christmas trees. Mathilde of Belgium succumbed to the charm of a long, flared cinnabar red dress, including a high collar and three-quarter sleeves. The model, slightly gathered at the front, was made from satin, which gave it an iridescent appearance. The seventh Belgian queen finished her look with a pair of matching pointy-toe pumps and sparkling earrings. King Philippe, for his part, played the discreet card, donning a fitted black suit which covered a white shirt and a blue tie. A sure value that he mixed with a pair of leather moccasins. Finally, as true stars of the evening, the princesses shone brightly in long dresses enhancing their slender looks. Élisabeth relied on one of the key trends of the season: the burgundy dress. Chosen in a velvet version, the piece had a refined boat neck and fell to her feet, covering her shoes. The eldest of the family took the opportunity to spruce up her outfit with a tone-on-tone clutch. Finally, her younger sister, Éléonore, contrasted with a metallic champagne dress, highlighting her pink complexion, and a gold clutch.

This is not the first time that the princesses have eclipsed their mother during a major event. The proof! On July 21, the four children of the royal family gathered at the Saints-Michel-et-Gudule cathedral in Brussels for the national holiday. The eldest daughter of the royal couple then attracted all eyes, arriving alongside her brother Emmanuel in a total fuchsia pink look. The creation, repeating the lines of the strapless dress, was enhanced with a Bardot collar enhancing her shoulders. The set is matched with a pretty headgear and a clutch in the same tones. Her sister Éléonore, for her part, opted for a pretty, vaporous white dress covered with red and pink flowers, making her entrance on the arm of her brother Gabriel. Judicious stylistic choices which overshadowed the silhouette on which their mother, Mathilde of Belgium was revealed that same day. Dressed all in white, the Belgian queen was dressed in a flared ivory dress, decorated with an elegant hat and a champagne clutch.
