The equivalent of a four star
This former tourist establishment, somewhat fallen into disuse, or even with a look that has become “cheesy” over time, says Xavier O’Quin, president and co-founder of the Edgar Suites hotel group, now gives way to a high-end aparthotel residence, the equivalent of a classic four-star hotel, adds the president.
This is the model favored by the company, which already has a park of seventeen residences of the same ilk in France, in Paris, Lille or Bordeaux, and which is eyeing the Côte d’Azur but also the Spain or Italy to continue its development.
Offer to families and professionals
Its latest addition is therefore located in the city of festivals, in its heart moreover. A positioning considered upstream which finds its full meaning: “It was an old hotel with 30 rooms, specifies the co-founder. We transformed it into ten luxury apartments, which represent thirty-four rooms in total. The idea is to offer hotel standards but in a space that looks more like an apartment. This is an offer that rarely exists here and which is aimed both at families on vacation and at professionals present at the numerous conferences organized in Cannes.”
