A 16-year-old teenager was fatally injured with a stab near the Rodin high school in the 13th arrondissement this Tuesday, December 17. His father expresses his incomprehension.

“It’s hard.” The day after the death of a 16-year-old teenager in a brawl near the Rodin high school in the 13th arrondissement of , his father expressed his incomprehension on TF1 this Wednesday, December 18.

“He found himself at the wrong time, in the wrong place, he met some young people who were in a fight so there you go, I don’t know how my son had his part in it,” confided Sara, the teenager’s father killed.

Born in 2008, the young man was first found in cardio-respiratory arrest in front of the high school. Despite Samu’s resuscitation attempts, the teenager was declared dead as a result of his stab wound.

Schooled in Val-de-, he had already been injured by a stab on December 10, near the René Cassin high school, in the 16th arrondissement.

A person arrested

The investigation, first opened for “murder” and entrusted to Paris territorial security, was reclassified as “premeditated murder”, according to the prosecution. A minor was arrested but it is too early to know if he is directly linked to the teenager’s death, according to the same source.

The prosecution also indicates that “this murder is part of the continuity of a phenomenon of recurring brawls between young people in the 13th arrondissement sector, where eight clashes have been noted since May 2024”.
