Place Saint-Germain, a premises of more than 110 m² has been empty since the launch of the metro. Despite several unsuccessful attempts, an ambitious project is finally coming to fruition according to information reported by The Brest Telegram. “We will open after the summer,” confirms Bertrand Saint-Yves, renowned restaurateur and owner of well-known brands such as The Parisian, La Closerie et La Smala.
Designed by renowned architect Christophe Bachmann, this future restaurant will offer 70 seats indoors and the same number on the terrace. “It will be a great signing. We will put all our energy into making this address a popular destination for Rennes residents,” adds the professional. To make this adventure a reality, Bertrand Saint-Yves signed a lease with SAS Territoires et Perspectives.
This will certainly be a major challenge in a place already renowned for its numerous establishments. But that’s not all: according to our information, Bertrand Saint-Yves is working on another major project in Saint-Grégoire. He recently took over The Terracea beautiful institution which will also undergo a major transformation under the leadership of Christophe Bachmann. With these two initiatives, Bertrand Saint-Yves once again asserts itself as an essential figure in Rennes gastronomy.
