2025 Belgian Motocross Championship: everything you need to know – Motocross – Enduro – Supermoto

Lhe 2025 Belgian Motocross Championship will be organized over 10 events. A new addition appears on the calendar: a three-day event on the Lierneux motocross circuit. If the highlight of the season will probably be the international Keiheuvel race in Balen, the championship will be launched on March 23 in the sand of Lommel.

Do you want to participate in the Belgian motocross championship next season? Please note that applications for 2025 motocross licenses are already available from the FMB. The FMB Motocross Europe Open license will allow you to participate not only in all events organized in Belgium in 2025, but also in events throughout Europe as long as they are included in the FIM Europe Open calendar as is the case. case of ONK, ADAC, etc. events. In addition, it allows you to be insured throughout Europe during free training on circuits (individual accident insurance and travel assistance). This license also includes liability insurance to allow you to train in without having to take out the FFM license/pass.

In collaboration with the VMCF and the AMPL, our national federation offers a motocross calendar made up of 10 events on the most beautiful circuits in our country.

Some important changes for the 2025 season

  • The maximum permitted sound level of machines increases from 114 dba to 111 dba in accordance with FIM regulations (according to the FIM noise method, 2 meters max).
  • Helmets bearing the ECE 22-05 “P” approval label will still be valid until 12/31/2026.
  • “GoPro” type cameras cannot be worn on the body.
  • The use of drones is prohibited

Concerning noise, the FMB technical college will offer the possibility to all drivers from all federations to have their machines checked free of charge for the new noise limit of 111dba. More information will follow but we can already tell you that it will be on the Lommel circuit.

  • July 21, 2025: Lierneux (VMCF) (3 days)
  • 10 August 2025: Balen (KMC Mol)
  • August 31, 2025: Huldenberg (VMCF)
  • October 4 and 5, 2025: Baisieux (MX Hauts-Pays) – subject to
  • September or October 2025: Méan (AMPL) (date still to be determined)

The MX Hauts-pays is currently in the process of renewing the necessary authorizations for the organization of the Coupe de l’Avenir & Belgian championship in Baisieux, hence the mention “subject to reservation”.

The Belgian championship is organized for the following classes:

  • 65cc 2 Stroke Small wheels
  • Juniors 85cc
  • 125cc hopes
  • Juniors 250cc
  • Juniors 500cc
  • 250cc Nationals
  • 500cc Nationals
  • Inters 250cc
  • Inters 500cc

To score points for the championship and be entitled to finishing bonuses, participants must hold one of these licenses:

  • License FMB Motocross Europe Open the Motorsport Flanders ou la FMWB
  • National motocross license from the VMCF
  • AMPL National Motocross License
  • FPCNA Regional Motocross License
  • National, European, International, FIM or FIM Europe License accompanied by a departure authorization issued by a federation affiliated to the FIM
