Share, learn, have fun together
From January, the galette des Rois brought together members and supporters in a friendly atmosphere at the Brizeux café, winner of the famous 2023 Summer Olympics. The pancake workshops, offered in February, allowed everyone to master the Art of billig, thus strengthening the team for the gourmet stands.
Environmental appointments, such as the grafting of apple and pear trees and the shredding of plants in March, have raised questions about their frequency. The April Grati’jardin, which combined the exchange of plants and outdoor music, was very successful.
On July 14, the party was in full swing: interbar Olympics won this summer by the Chez Chouchou team, pancakes, games of skill, donkey rides and a concert brought together many participants.
Finally, yoga sessions by the river in summer and thematic events such as the Samhain festival celebrating the end of the Celtic year, completed a year marked by great dynamics.
A future that relies on the collective
If 2024 was a success, it is thanks to the investment of volunteers and residents. But maintaining this pace becomes a challenge. Every gesture counts, whether it is to help organize, lend a hand or simply join in the activities. Everyone has their place, and each participation is useful,
recalled Aurélie Gabaud, the president, during the general assembly, which was held on Saturday, December 14, at the Maison des associations, in Coat-Kaër.
2025: head full of projects
The assembly was also an opportunity to discuss the prospects for 2025, in particular the merger of Gratiferia and Grati’jardin in the spring, the organization of new know-how sharing workshops, and the holding of the Land’ Festival. Art in April-May. Not forgetting the improvements to the Gorréquer garden, such as a covered pergola and a collective barbecue.
For the association, the essential remains clear: get together, do things together and share pleasure. A call is therefore launched: residents of the neighborhood, join the Friends of Gorréquer to continue to forge this precious social bond.
