Friday December 20, at 7 p.m., in downtown Albi, the Young Tarnais Farmers (JA-81) will parade in decorated tractors to celebrate Christmas.
For the first time in the Tarn department, around ten tractors decorated and lit up in their most beautiful Christmas colors will stroll through the town of Albi, Friday December 19 from 7 p.m. The atypical procession will pass around Place du Vigan, before continuing its route and reaching Place Sainte-Cécile and its cathedral.
After the parade, the Young Farmers of Tarn will offer a friendly moment with a tasting of local products, accompanied by mulled wine and many other surprises, in a festive and musical atmosphere. This original event, organized by the Young Farmers of the canton of Albi, is free and accessible to all.
This type of parade is organized for the end of year celebrations, almost everywhere in France by the different regional sections of the Young Farmers association and always meets great success with the public.
Share the magic of Christmas
“The objective is to share the magic of Christmas with the people of Tarnes, while promoting Tarnese agriculture. We do not want to conflate our recent demands and concerns”explains Christopher Régis, president of the Young Farmers of Tarn. Far from the tense context of recent weeks, “We simply want to highlight our professions and our passion. We want to show that we also know how to organize festive, friendly and quality events. We want this event to be a moment of sharing, for young and old alike, in the spirit of Christmas. »
The same entertainment is being prepared in Castres, at the start of next week, near the Christmas market, with music, tastings, traditional onion soup, mulled wine… and of course decorated and illuminated tractors.
