Since September 2024, Goetz Fassbender is the new financial director of Alphabet France. He succeeds Nico Ranke, now executive director and CFO of BMW Financial Services in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Serving the BMW Group for over 20 years
Holder of a degree in Business Economics from Saarland University and a Master’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich, Goetz Fassbender began his career in 2002 at BMW Group. He first focused on the design and deployment of commercial processes (sales and financial services) on an international scale before being appointed project manager in 2006. In 2009, he joined the branch BMW Financial Services as a management controller in Munich, then took charge of risk control within the company’s Madrid branch in 2013. In 2016, he became responsible for management control of the Asia region (China, Hong Kong), then, in 2019, of the Europe and Americas zone.
