Sabah Aïb, Miss -Pas-de-, explains why many candidates cried behind the scenes of Miss 2025

A historic election. With her victory, on Saturday December 14, 2024 on the Futuroscope stage, during the Miss election, Angélique Angarni-Filopon became the very first Miss French aged over 30. She succeeds Ève Gilles, becoming the new face of French elegance. A victory which left its mark, but which was not without twists and turns: she faced Sabah Aïb, Miss -Pas-de-. The latter, today first runner-up to the flight attendant, spoke to Match on December 17, 2024 about the behind-the-scenes of the Miss France 2025 evening, returning in particular to the emotion felt at the end of the competition.

The 18-year-old young woman, of Moroccan origin, said that the candidates were finally able to release the pressure and enjoy one last evening together once the TF1 cameras were turned off and the competition was over. Enough to give free rein to their emotions. “At the end of the election, we were able to unwind with the other girls during the disco party. Many cried, we all released the pressure. It was the end of the adventure, after spending a month together. ” Since then, daily life has resumed for the 29 regional Misses who did not obtain the sash. “On Sunday, I was able to rest before returning home to the North (…) I have a small media tour, but I am returning to my everyday life with the race for Christmas presents “, confided Sabah Aïb on this subject.
