The change was made without much announcement and could have gone unnoticed: the list of radars installed along the roads of France has been updated. They now number 3 268 on the national territory.

A general glance at the map shows that Paris and in small crownthe radars are located mainly on the ring road and on the motorway axes. The Parisian intra-murros has only seven, located avenue Daumesnil, cour de Vincennes, quai de Bercy, quai Saint-Bernard and rue de Maubege.
Detectors which, in addition to being more numerous, will be able to identify three new offenses : phones held in hand, not wearing a seat belt or even not respecting a safety distance. Each violation of the highway code is cumulative and will each be punished with a fine of 135 euros.
Motorists can rest assured, the measure will not come into force only after discussionof parliamentarians, in 2025.
