According to a police source, around 8:30 p.m., the municipal police wanted to check the driver of a Peugeot 207 speeding, rue Georges-Piat. The car was reported stolen, its license plates obscured by paint.

The motorist refuses to comply with the inspection and flees “taking risks in the city center”.

Handed over to the national police, the suspect is only 16 years old. Even more surprising, later in the evening, “a young person accompanied by an adult presented himself at the police station”. He is, according to the first elements, involved in the refusal to comply and the theft of the car, according to our source. The young person in question is only 13 years old. He is placed in police custody.
