Crunch Fitness is moving to Saint-Louis Street

The Crunch Fitness training center left its premises located at Carrefour Richelieu in mid-October. The company will be established in a building on rue Saint-Louis, formerly occupied by the Multisports Center, which has been closed for several years. This expansion project represents an investment of approximately $2 million.

This move will, among other things, allow the company to accommodate more members, as well as obtain new training equipment and carry out rental improvements.

“Currently, business is going well for the center. When we were at Carrefour Richelieu, we were starting to get cramped and we had no possibility of expansion,” explains Antoine L’Estage, co-owner of Crunch Fitness with his colleague Patrice Rouleau.

According to recent statistics, the training center had around 3,000 members.

New spaces

The new spaces located at 200, rue Saint-Louis, room 194 have an area of 22,000 square feet, which represents 8,000 additional square feet compared to the gym’s former premises at Carrefour Richelieu.

According to a plan published on the Crunch St-Jean Facebook page, the interior is planned to be arranged in ten different zones, including changing rooms, a place offering services to relax and recover, a group classroom, a Hiit training area as well as Olympic platform, free weights, huge turf, private training and sauna areas. An estimated amount of $2 million will be invested in these new developments.

Further details on this project, including the timeline and reopening date of the training center, will be revealed in a future edition of the French Canada.
