Clermont. This large car park with 170 spaces under construction until 2025: the changes

Work began in November 2023 on the Saint-Victor car park of the Casino de Royat and the thermal baths in Chamalières (Puy-de-Dôme), very close to Clermont-Ferrand.

Throughout the duration of the work, the current exit from the car park will be closed, a new exit will be created on Avenue de Royat. “One-off impacts on the number of parking spaces are to be expected,” specifies the metropolis.

The work divided into several phases

The work is divided into different phases.

• 2nd phase: April 2024 to April 2025. Redevelopment work on the car park and bus stations (work on the stations will continue until September 2025).
• 3rd phase: work spread between April 2025 and September 2025. Work on the terminus, support buildings (operating premises).

The eastern part of the car park, along avenue des Thermes, and its exit, is closed to traffic.

Truce during the holidays

This project is part of the InspiR project, to overhaul Clermont public transport.

As the end-of-year holidays approach, a winter work break will encourage everyone to come and enjoy the festivities and shops. Work will stop from the evening of December 18 until January 6 or 7.
