The Castres Olympic announced the arrival of Izaiha Moore-Aiono, young New Zealand third row and Samoan international, as a medical joker. This recruitment aims to compensate for the prolonged absences of Baptiste Delaporte and Baptiste Cope, both injured.
A medical joker with an explosive profile
According to Castres Olympique, Moore-Aiono, 24, arrives from Saracenswhere he played three games this season, including one start. This player, with a solid build (1,83 m pour 103 kg), is described as fast, mobile and explosive, qualities which should allow him to quickly integrate into the “Bleus et Blancs” collective.
In addition to his club experience, he recently shone with Samoa during the Pacific Nations Cupanother string to his bow which reinforces the optimism around his arrival.

At the same time, the CO decided to recall Simon Meccaloaned to SC Albi, to lend a helping hand. Trained at the club since he was 16, Meka, also 24 years old, took advantage of the break in the National championship to rejoin the Castres squad. A temporary, but valuable, return in a period marked by serial injuries at the third line position.
