Friday December 20 at 9 p.m., the theater team invites you to enjoy musical humor in the company of the Orquestra de Cambra l’Empordà in a show entitled Desconcerto. The curtain opens, and the musicians discover the absence of their leader. Freed from his direction, they use the scores of Mozart, Vivaldi, Bizet, Rossini and Pachelbel to improvise, dance and twirl. But when the maestro arrives, a duel begins between classical interpretations and more daring executions… The result? A unique show, combining humor, brilliance and respect for great musical works.
The 12 musicians of the Orquestra de Cambra l’Empordà, from Catalonia, offer a concert-show combining virtuosity, timeless melodies and comedy. At the helm, Jordi Purtí, creator of the hits Hop! Era and Operetta, infuses his offbeat and poetic vision.
