CD 65 takes stock

The 72nd departmental pétanque congress organized by the CD65 was recently held at the Maison des Sports in . The opportunity to take stock with President Marie-Luce Lacassie who opened an assembly where the managers of the different clubs were present. With 13 departments in the region, the 65 rises to 12th place in the number of licensees, and yet… Divided into four sectors Tarbes, Lannemezan, BAL and Vic-Maubourguet 1895 licenses are registered for the year 2024, knowing that the competitions resume in 2025.

A meeting which also made it possible to trace the progress made on various sports commissions, women’s, youth, discipline, arbitration, adapted sport and disabled sport, transfer, IT. Long subjects which have been commented on by the different clubs.

Four new members elected

In order to attack this new Olympiad, the office which has 13 members was therefore renewed through an election which saw four new people join the office. Namely Ms. Berdet, MM. Burgaud, Vignes and Ribéra. On this complete agenda, license prices will also have been discussed. 40€ for juniors, seniors, veterans, 10€ for young people. A slight increase to cover expenses for qualified competitors in the region or in .

Some laudatory 2024 sporting achievements.

Fans of pétanque and the Provençal game in the department have covered several championships, several titles of which we are providing you with a few episodes.

Open club championship TTC winner Bouchon des Gaves d’Argelès, departmental championship senior men’s triplets winner Adour Pétanque, women’s winner CB Lécussanais, head to head women’s departmental champion Camille Guinle (TCB), juniors Ting Doeer (SO Pétanque), cadets Verset Steinbach (ES Lourdes Pétanque). A.Lapoutge regional champion TAT, B.Coralie and C.Salvini regional champions in mixed doubles, M.Sagréfana selected for the 2024 nuggets trophy.

An assembly which closed with an awards ceremony which made people happy, while thinking about the season to come which promises to be just as exciting.
