The facts occurred in the middle of the night, around two o’clock in the morning, Tuesday December 17, 2024, boulevard d’Orléans in Rouen. An individual is spotted attacking his dog near a trash container.
“He hangs his dog on a leash and throws it against a wall several times,” a police source tells us. Informed by a witness, a police team arrived on site and checked the individual.
The owner of the animal is a 43-year-old SFD. He ends up admitting the facts, claiming that his dog weighs 10 kilos and that when he pulls the leash, it causes him pain in his back.
The man was arrested and taken into police custody. The young dog was brought back to the police station. It is unclear where it will be placed next.
