The least we can say is that exasperated President Joël Guin has firmly rebuffed the attacks of the RN mayors of Pontet and Morières-lès-Avignon following their interventions on the budget on the agenda of the community council this Monday evening.
The RN votes against, the Greens abstain
A budget of €471 million allowing €164 million of investment, main and annex budgets combined, and a strategy for 2025 detailed by Xavier Belleville. It includes position by position the projections, the needs for “bringing the territory to life”investment, the challenges to be met, support for municipalities and stabilization of the debt without an increase in taxation. “A precarious budget in terms of balance and to be monitored closely. We continue to progress and improve. Finances are healthy, but we must be vigilant because resources are becoming scarce”, underlined the rapporteur.
