Harison du Plessis favorite of Cédric Bloquet in Wednesday’s quinté

Our expert Cédric Bloquet chose Harison du Plessis (8) as favorite in the Prix de La Tremblade, Quinté+ this Wednesday, December 18 at the - racecourse. This event reserved for horses aged 7 to 10 years old who have not won €268,000 will see 16 starters compete over the 2,850 meters of the Parisian ash. Cédric Bloquet therefore chose this 7-year-old gelding as the basis for his prediction. He was unlucky last time and needs to be redeemed with confidence. “He had some traffic problems last time, specifies his trainer Philippe Boutin. I asked Éric Raffin to hide the effort from him, which has its hazards. This time, he will have carte blanche. He is at the top and has proven that he can achieve a good time over this distance. I admit that everything seems to come together for him to finish in the top three.” Behind, Hasard d’Erable (15) must have been prepared for this goal. Haitian Fight Song (10) is presented barefoot for the first time, and is one of the good chances before the shot. Hasur Dairpet (11) has never performed so well. Finally, Hemma de Brikvil (9) has largely proven herself in this category. To complete his selection, Cédric Bloquet chose Gamin de Mahey (5), Grez (4), and Entre Amis (12).

The numerical selection of Cédric Bloquet (ParisTurf): 8 – 15 – 10 – 11 – 9 – 5 – 4 – 12.

100% Quinté: Michel Burgio chose the same bases

In the “100% Quinté” show this Wednesday, December 18 at Paris-Vincennes, the Prix de La Tremblade, Michel Burgio also chose Harison du Plessis as the basis of his prognosis. Find his five favorites below.

Harison du Plessis (8) : “He had an exceptional 2024 season, taking €105,820 in total, and he can still increase his bank account. He won well this year, both in Vincennes and in the provinces. He discovers a great opportunity to return to success and must be regained with confidence. The horse is hard working, and in great shape. The outfit course will not bother him, on the contrary.”

Haitian Fight Song (10) : “She will be unshod on all four feet for the first time in her career, which can give her extra speed. She shows great regularity. She has just finished fifth in a good quinté, performing very well. I hold it very high.”

Maple Chance (15) : “He too could aim for success. He discovers a superb commitment, at the winnings ceiling. He has already faced tougher competitions than this one. He has been racing with shoes recently, in order to get him to the best possible condition for this event. I believe in it a lot, and I think it can go very far.”

Encountered Dairpet (11) : “It’s an element that does all its shopping. He has just finished second at Vincennes, on the speed course, beating his record, trotting 1’11”2 on the big track, not far from success. He is still at his best, and his trainer has announced that he is looking for his race. However, I see it more for a palce. In 2024, in the quintés, he took four places in four attempts. He is confirmed in this category, and I see him playing a good role at the finish.”

Grez (4) : “He is also very consistent, and has just finished fourth at Vincennes, also beating his record. After a good run, I see him taking a good place at the finish, but he is not alone.”
