First parish mass at the Benevolent

The church was full and many personalities from the two communes of Montigny and Voisins-le-Bretonneux were present among the faithful to join in their joy: the Saint-Joseph-le-Bienveillant church participates in the dynamism of a new eco-district full of promise. Mgr Crepy returned in his homily to the sources of Christian joy: the joy of encountering Christ, the joy of coming together in community and the joy of bearing witness to the Good News of God who has become close to everyone in the person of Jesus.

Yes, with the patronage of , it is the patronage of the Holy Family that is evoked: may your parish community become a large family, ever more united by the bonds of faith, charity and hope! You will thus be a joyful and caring community where it will be good to come, where everyone will feel welcomed in these beautiful parish premises, where everyone will be able to discover the joy of believing! (…) With the creation of this new church, it is a mission that is entrusted to each parishioner: to bear witness to the Good News of God who has come close to us in the person of Jesus.” Read the entire homily of Mgr Luc Crepy

Much gratitude to all donors

I thank the Cardinal projects and all the donors, large and small – there are more than 2,200 of them! – who made their contribution to this building. This church is for the generations that come a testimony to your generosity and the faith of an entire people. Continue to pray, continue to give… We must finish beautifying this church, and all this cannot be done without you. (…) May the Lord keep you the soul of builders and bless all those who have contributed in one way or another to this church, through their prayer, their charity, their generosity, their dedication.” If you would like to participate in the completion of the Saint-Joseph the Benevolent Church, click here

Next steps

We will solemnly celebrate the dedication, that is to say the consecration, of this Saint Joseph the Benevolent church, when it is completely completed, with its statues, its organ and the large fresco which will adorn this choir. But from now on, this church receives its mission: to be the place where the parish community gathers to celebrate the Lord and find its unity; to be a place of consolation and peace for all who seek God; to be a place of mercy, where forgiveness is given and everyone can discover themselves loved; to be a spiritual oasis in the heart of the city, open and accessible to all; to be a place of fraternity where charity, the first fruit of prayer, is lived in action. My decision to make Saint Joseph the Benevolent a jubilee place as part of the great jubilee of 2025 will help us all to bring this place to life in its mission.without delay and in a very special way.” Read Ms. Luc Crepy’s entire speech
