Dominique Delattre and Karim Ouali, here are the two names which have joined that of Farid Touloun, the three French people listed among the list of most wanted fugitives on the Europol website. One of them, Dominique Delattre, escaped from the Nîmes remand center in 2000.
Wanted by the French police, they will now have all the European police on their tail. Dominique Delattre and Karim Ouali have just been added to the list of fugitives wanted by Europol, on the website of the European police agency. “These individuals have blood on their hands: they have caused or attempted to cause the death of another person and could well be among us” writes the European Police Agency.

Dominique Delattre, nicknamed “La Vieille”, “La Vioque” or “Dédé”; has been sought after for almost 25 years. He was arrested in 1997 when he participated in the attack on a cash transport van in Baillargues. A conveyor was seriously injured. Sentenced to 20 years in prison, he managed to escape in 2000.
Accomplices, disguised as painters, had set up ladders and the Nîmes remand center does not allow guards to see the outside of the prison. He escaped with the help of an accomplice, who was arrested in the Paris region four years later, but remained completely silent during the hearings.
Aged around sixty today, the authorities suspect him of being in Spain, even though he has just joined the list of fugitives wanted by Europol, which specifies that he would have “tattoos on the left forearm and wrist and the words 'the saint' on the left forearm.”
Karim Ouali, suspected of having killed his superior with an ax
Aged 48 today, the second Frenchman to join this list is Karim Ouali. The latter is suspected on April 27, 2011 of having killed his superior with an ax at Basel-Mulhouse airport. “He was suffering from persecution and was in a psychotic state” explains Europol.
On the run since 2011, he was spotted in 2021 in Hong Kong, on a dating site. According to the agency, “He has tribal tattoos on his chest and thigh and a mole on his right cheek.”
They join Farid Touloun on the list, already present since 2022. The latter, member of a criminal organization specializing in armed robbery and drug trafficking, allegedly participated in a brawl in Tassin-la-Demi-Lune where two members of a rival gang had been seriously injured and killed. He is considered “particularly dangerous” and would not hesitate to open fire.
“If you recognize someone, don’t approach them directly.” explains Europol who asks to contact them directly “via fugitive profile pages”.
