The Automobile Sports Association (ASA) Haute-Vallée de la Loire organized its elective general meeting on Saturday December 7 in Salettes.
A new office was unanimously elected: Pascal Magne, Alexandre Malartre, Valérie Dutruel, Chloé Vigne, Sylvain Vaucanson, Christophe Pascal, Pierrick Jourde, Christian Gerbier, Guy Bonnefoux.
Pascal Magne succeeds Alexandre Malartre as president after 4 years in office which were not easy. The first year was impacted by COVID, hence the cancellation of the organized events (HVL rally and Haut-Lignon rally in partnership with the Haut-Lignon auto-sport team). Praise was given to Marie-Laure Pradines, treasurer of the ASA for 16 years.
Pilots and co-pilots rewarded
This was followed by the award ceremony for the different categories represented within the ASA, asphalt rally, dirt rally, hill climb, circuit, VHC rally and VHC hill climb. The leaders respectively classified in each category: Jérémy Bonnefoy asphalt rally, Guillaume Tardy dirt rally, Rémi Peyrelon hill climb, Terry Tavant circuit, Yannick Tescartes and Jean-Marc Charvin VHC hill climb.
We will note for the competing general classification for this 2024 season Jérémly Bonnefoy 1st position, Yannick Trescartes 2nd position and Jean-Marc Charvin 3rd position.
Concerning the co-drivers Mathieu Souvignet in 1st position, Maxime Machabert in 2nd position and Nicolas Roudil in 3rd position.
The 2025 Auto Tour will pass through Haut-Lignon
The new office is getting underway to organize a special event of the Tour Auto on April 11, 2025. This international event, bringing together 280 competition vehicles, will leave Paris on April 7, 2025, cross France and arrive in Nice on April 12, 2025, passing through our territory. Satisfied with the collaboration during the 2002, 2006, 2012 and 2016 editions, the Peter Auto Company requested the ASA to take charge of a special event. This will take place on Friday April 11, 2025 around Tence.
The dates which should also be remembered are June 13 and 14, 2025 for the 25th Haute-Vallée de la Loire rally and September 12 and 13, 2025 for the 35th Haut-Lignon Rally.
