On December 14 and 15, 2024, the La Ferté-Bernard leisure center becomes the central point of French cyclo-cross for a weekend. The circuit, 2.6 km long, alternates technical passages, muddy areas and spectacular obstacles. It puts the physical and technical abilities of the runners to the test, promising very challenging races.
This last stage is decisive for the general classification of the Coupe de France. Thanks to a system of adding points acquired during the eight rounds, it allows the best cyclists to qualify for the French championships, the flagship competition of the discipline, which will take place on January 12 and 13, 2025 in Pont-Château in Loire-Atlantique. The event will also be broadcast on ICI Pays de la Loire and france.tv
- 9:00 a.m.: Men’s U17 race.
- 9:55 a.m.: U19 women’s and U17 women’s races.
- 11:05 a.m.: U19 men’s race.
- 12:50 p.m.: U23 men’s race.
- 2:05 p.m.: Women’s Elite Final (including U23).
- 3:25 p.m.: Men’s Elite Final.
- 16h40 : Podiums.

Cyclo-cross, the winter discipline par excellence, extends from October to February and attracts a growing number of enthusiasts across the globe. More than just a sport, it has established itself as an essential training ground for road runners looking for physical and mental preparation before the road season.
The Pays de la Loire region has long been associated with cycling in all its forms. It benefits from a sporting heritage marked by emblematic champions, who helped to popularize cycling in the west of France.
Pays de la Loire is obviously among the host regions of the French cyclo-cross Cup. In 2024, two important rounds will take place there, thus reinforcing their central role in this discipline.
Pont-Château is an emblematic place for cyclo-cross. Since 1978, this commune in Loire-Atlantique has organized high-level competitions and has hosted several international championships, making it a reference in the field. The 2025 French championships will take place there once again, on January 12 and 13.
