The general secretariat for the administration of the Ministry of the Interior (SGAMI) South-East is organizing an exceptional recruitment session for assistant police officers.
The three departments of Isère, Savoie and Haute-Savoie are open to this recruitment, the tests of which will take place in Grenoble. Once the selections are successful, the recruits will join a police academy for four months.
During their paid training, they will learn the basics of being an assistant police officer and, upon completion, will be posted close to home.

The closing date for registrations is January 5, 2025.
The written tests (which include psychotechnical tests and the description of a photo of everyday life) and sports will take place on February 6 in Grenoble (at an address which will be specified in the invitation).
The oral admission tests will take place between March 17 and 28.
The results will be known at the beginning of April.
To register, each candidate must be of legal age and under 30 years old on the date of incorporation into school (which occurs 6 to 12 months after successful selection).
He must be of French nationality and bulletin no. 2 of his criminal record must not contain any mention incompatible with the exercise of the envisaged functions. He must also be in good standing with the national service, defense and citizenship day (JDC, former JAPD).
People over the age of 25 are exempt from their national service obligation and as such, no proof will be required of them.
For people under 25 who have not completed their defense and citizenship day, a provisional certificate of participation issued by the national and youth service center (CSNJ) must be provided.
Finally, candidates must meet the physical abilities required during the medical examination (refer to the decree of November 25, 2022 relating to the specific health conditions applicable to assistant police officers).
