Who will succeed Mickaël Campo (mental trainer of the players of the French rugby team) whom you elected Jurassian of the year 2023? We are calling on you again to elect your favorite personality from theyear 2024. For this, the editorial staff has selected women and men who have made their mark in the news.

We invite you to vote for your winning “trio” until Thursday December 19, 2024. The one who received the most votes will be revealed to you in our edition of December 26, 2024.


1. AUBERT Max.

An 18-year-old eco-school student, Max Aubert launched VertChezNous.fr: an online local craft platform. In Lons-le-Saunier, this young man in his twenties decided to put his ecological values ​​into practice by creating an online sales site dedicated to local crafts.

2. BELLEFOY Guy.

Co-founder of the Rebondir à association, Guy Bellefoy helps people in financial distress after overcoming numerous personal challenges. He campaigns for financial education. His philosophy: to remain resilient in the face of life's challenges.

3. COLAS Claire.

While there are only 487 in and only around ten in the region, Claire Colas is the only French interpreter – French sign language in the Jura. She would like to see resourceful people occupy positions that make things happen in society.

4. COUNT Evelyne.

Evelyne Comte received Canada's Meritorious Service Medal for her memorial work on Canadian loggers who worked in the Joux Forest during the First World War. Thanks to her, a battalion of 600 black soldiers was officially recognized by Canada.

5. COURVOISIER Louise.

Director from Jura, Louise Courvoisier enjoyed great success with her first feature film Vingt Dieux, which won an award at the Film Festival. She defends her authenticity by combining practice and training to create films anchored in her territory.

6. FLORENTIN Georges-Henri.

A former bridge, water and forestry engineer, Georges-Henri Florentin campaigned for six years to make wood a main element of construction for the 2024 Olympic Games. The share of wood rose to 28%, a figure up to -never reached there.

7. Paul.

A child from the town of Saint-Aubin, Paul Fontaine, 40, was born with cystic fibrosis. Despite his illness, he ran the Marathon in four hours, crossed France by bike, climbed Mont Blanc and Kilimanjaro and this year, he was selected among the 20,000 applications to carry the Olympic flame.

8. GAVAND Clement.

Having become a cheesemaker after a career as a lyrical singer, Clément Gavand, originally from Dolois, installed for two and a half years with his partner and spouse at the head of Les fils fromagers, received a bronze medal at the Agricultural Show in Paris . It was at the Lyre d’or competition.

9. JACQUET Gaëtan.

A florist based in Crotenay, Gaétan Jacquet is behind the creation of Printemps Palladian, a floral festival on a European scale which took place in May at the Villa Palladian. This first edition was a success and welcomed 6,500 visitors over two days.

10. JAVAUX Edwige.

Manager of the Relais du Fumé in Champagnole, Edwige Javaux was at the initiative of numerous events this year for the city: 80 years of the Liberation, 30 years of head cheese for the Telethon. She also created a Facebook page to bring together downtown merchants.

11. JEANGUILLAUME Alix.

Said “La Stache” Alix Jeanguillaume is an MMA fighter, known for his resilience after a defeat. He opened an MMA and boxing training school in Mouchard, his childhood village, where he wants to create a multifunctional sports complex.

12. RAVASSARD Pamela.

Originally from Lons-le-Saunier, Pamela Ravassard has always dreamed of living in the world of theater. She became an actress, actress for cinema and television. Director of the play “Courgette”, nominated seven times for the Molières, was also nominated for the Musical Comedy Trophies.

13. RUDE Geraldine.

In Saint-Amour, the L'Atelier biscuit factory was awarded a Golden Epicure for its Comté bricelets. A consecration for its creator Géraldine Rude who works with a cocoa producer from Abidjan and a chocolatier from Champagnole on the design of a tablet.

14. TROUGNOU Alexis.

Hearing impaired since birth, Alexis Trougnou has lost his sight for ten years. Eager to make the most of every moment, this Haut-Jura resident wants to tackle the ascent of Kilimanjaro in 2026, where he will attempt to set the record for the visually impaired “before the curtain closes one day”.

15. VANNIER Frédéric.

In Lons-le-Saunier, Frédéric Vannier decided two years ago to voluntarily clean his neighborhood. With his yellow vest, his tools in hand, his white bike and his cart always a few meters away, this discreet sixty-year-old finds a way to escape his confinement.

16. VIENNOT Cyril.

The Dole triathlete, Cyril Viennot, won the silver medal at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. Guide to visually impaired triathlete Thibaut Rigaudeau, he completed his paratriathlon journey with a beautiful Olympic medal, four years after finishing at the foot of the podium .
