A candidate for the Miss France election had to be urgently hospitalized a week before preparations for the election kicked off. She almost withdrew from the competition. She thought she saw her dream disappear.
Becoming Miss France is the little girl's dream of many candidates. So much so that they try their luck several years in a row, sometimes even if it means changing regions. So when a hard blow comes at the last moment, the dream of being voted the most beautiful woman in France collapses.
This is the mishap that happened to Cassiopée Rimbaud, Miss Roussillon. A week before the candidates left for preparations, the 21-year-old woman fell ill. She learns that she has contracted “aggravated mononucleosis”. “My liver was affected so I was urgently hospitalized following this illness,” explains Cassiopée Rimbaud to Leisure TV. The doctors tell her that she will not be able to participate in the competition. “There is no treatment because it is viral so you need rest, sleep well and eat well.
A twist of events four days before the planned departure date: the doctors finally change their minds. They tell Miss Roussillon that she can finally leave the hospital. Since then, she has been doing well and has no more health concerns.
