TEvery four years, France receives its math report card, and every four years, it's the same disaster. Published this Wednesday, December 4, the results of the latest edition of Timss, which measures the performance in mathematics and science of CM1 and 4 students^edo not deviate from the rule. With 484 points in mathematics, France is at 42^e world position out of the 58 countries compared for the CM1 class and the last country in the European Union, between Kazakhstan (497) and Montenegro (477). In 4^ethe results are hardly more glorious, since with 479 points our country is located at 24^e place in 44 countries, between Israel (479) and Azerbaijan (475). Only Portugal is doing less well in Europe.
