Will snow fall at the end of the week in the Massif Central? It's very possible.

“The European ECMWF model envisages, for example, an isolation of this cold drop on the Iberian Peninsula, inducing gentler but also wetter rises via the Mediterranean with a temporary snow potential going to the center of France», explains Météo Cities.

Forecasts shared by the American GFS model, which anticipates heavy snowfall in the Massif Central.

Showers in the northeast/central-east

“With the sudden cooling expected at the end of the week, snow is expected in abundance on all our massifs,” observes La Chaîne Météo.

Between Saturday December 7 and Tuesday December 10, snow could even temporarily appear in the plains at the start of next week, in the form of showers in the northeast/center-east.

Temperatures will drop this weekend after a cold front passes through. The thermometer will be 2-3°C below normal.

“The feeling will become much more wintery and therefore seasonal,” continues The Weather Channel.
