“Nomadic Oratorio”, a story of escape

An event proposed by the Scène Nationale d', the play “Oratorio nomade” will be performed in several towns in Tarn this week. A travel story, this original creation takes us in the footsteps of a man who sets out to reach from Munich on foot.

In a single stripped-down scene, the viewer follows him throughout these 800 kilometers. In the form of a diary, this story born from walking tells of a man in his quest, in adversity, in solitude, in the face of death. Six sessions are scheduled between Tuesday December 3 and Monday December 9 in Graulhet, Les Cabannes, Gaillac, Monestiés, Salvagnac, Labruguière.

A lively Christmas village in Puycelsi

Saturday December 7 and Sunday December 8, the medieval town of Puycelsi is dressed in the magic of Christmas. Around thirty exhibitors will take place in the streets of the town center to bring to life a small Christmas village: local artisans, regional producers and associations will reveal their know-how and numerous activities for the whole family.

Carriage rides in the presence of Santa Claus, choirs, a storyteller, gourmet meals through the village… A program designed to warm hearts. Saturday evening the party will continue in the multipurpose room with a traditional ball hosted by the Bolbena duo.

The social and working-class cinema festival in Carmaux

It will celebrate its tenth anniversary from December 5 to 8: the festival of social and working-class cinema has become a must-see of the Carmausine cultural season. This edition will delight film buffs of all kinds, but also lovers of local history. A great program of heritage films, images of Jean Jaurès in the Carmausin, a mining film… And to complete this great cinema festival, actors and directors will come and discuss their films.

Exhibitions will also be visible throughout the duration of the festival. The opening of the festival, Thursday evening, will be with the film “En Fanfare”, in the presence of the Tarn fire brigade fanfare.

Mazamet. Return to Wonderland at the Apollo
