Discover the ranking of the best almond pancake in Essonne

The Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Essonne (CMA) and the House of Bakery and Pastry honored artisanal excellence during the 8th anniversary awards ceremony Competition for the Best Almond Cake in Essonne. This event, which was held Wednesday evening, celebrated the talent of bakers of the department, bringing together experienced professionals and promising apprentices around the French culinary tradition.

This year, 49 participants, including 18 business leaders, 23 employees and 8 apprentices, competed in creativity and technical mastery to seduce an exceptional jury. Made up of industry experts and local figures, the jury evaluated each pancake according to strict criteria: perfect cooking, refined decor, airy flakiness and subtle balance of flavors.

Yaëlle Buzzettipresident of the CMA Essonneexpressed his admiration for the competing artisans: “Your creations embody the best in our local craftsmanship: talent, innovation and love of the profession. You are the ambassadors of Essonne excellence”.

In addition to local prestige, the competition offers winners the opportunity to climb onto regional and national podiums. These events are an opportunity to promote Essonne know-how and promote the work of these passionate artisans well beyond the borders of the department.
