A 40-year-old man was taken into police custody this Monday, December 2 after the discovery of 2.27 kg of weed at his home in the south of Deux-Sèvres.

Sunday 1is December, around 7 p.m., the Sauzé-Vaussais gendarmes searched the home of a 40-year-old man whom they suspected of engaging in drug trafficking.
Conducted in the small village of Clussais-la-Pommeraie, in southern Deux-Sèvres, the operation allowed the soldiers to get their hands on 2.27 kg of cannabis herb which were distributed in 25 jars.
Already known for similar acts, the individual admitted that he grew plants outdoors and assured that it was only for his personal consumption. He was placed in police custody and brought before the public prosecutor's office this Monday, December 2.
