Intrigued by the noise in the corridor, this resident of the building on rue des Carreaux, in Sannois (Val-d'Oise), opened the door. “I thought it was still the police who came to question me,” she says. She continues with a sigh, “it’s complicated to see that”, pointing with her gaze to the armored door of the neighboring apartment on number 4e floor on which was placed a judicial seal with the mention murder written on it.
Friday November 29, 2024, a 27-year-old man was found killed by a gunshot to the head in the home.
Two shots
“I heard a first shot at 12:04 p.m., then a second immediately. But at the time, I thought it was the door slamming very loudly as it often happened. It was only when the police came to see me that I understood,” says the neighbor who had been taken care of in a state of shock by the emergency services after the tragedy.
Still very marked three days later, she confides being “terrorized from the moment [qu’elle] hears a noise”, while the shooter was still being sought this Monday.
The suspected shooter would have notified the police
According to the first elements of the investigation, it was the latter who alerted the police by telephone by contacting 17 to report a gunshot wound before giving the address. It was just before 3 p.m. when the police entered the apartment.
Officials then discovered the vvictim on the ground in cardio-respiratory arrest. Quickly on site, the firefighters and Samu doctors could only have noted the death of the victim. A young man who was neither the tenant nor the owner of the apartment which had been converted into a poker room. Elements which, however, have not been confirmed by the public prosecutor. “We are at the very beginning of the investigation,” he confided Friday evening before specifying that no weapon had been found on site.
“Gunshots in October”
Crossed in the building this Monday, another resident said she was: “afraid of [s]e put in danger if [elle] speak “. Preferring to remain anonymous, she explains that since the departure of the owner of the apartment, it has been regularly occupied by several individuals“up to 80 people once”. If she never really knew what was happening in the accommodation, she speaks of “comings and goings during the day and night”. But also incidents in the past. “There were gunshots in October. The police intervened. » Elements which, however, have not been confirmed to us by the prosecution.
