A new chain ferry will connect two small towns in -Atlantique

With a distance of 69.3 km, the Isaac is the second main river in the territory, with the Don.

Its course is mainly taken by the - Canal, and flows into the Vilaine at Fégréac.

Connecting the two municipalities

If it currently takes 10 km to reach Fégréac and Guenrouët by the towpath from Pont Mini or the Saint-Clair bridge, the upcoming installation of a chain ferry at the port of Morisssais will make it possible to connect mid- path the two communes.

Walkers, cyclists, fishermen, craftsmen and residents will be able, in complete autonomy, to cross from one bank to another in a few minutes thanks to a propulsion system operated by human power.
