Eight students from Fitou made the trip.
The Goshindo Club traveled to the Ardennes to Bazeilles for an international martial arts course. There were eight of them who experienced great moments during this course with, among others, the founder of goshindo, master Alain Sailly. Some Fitou students had the chance to work with him this weekend which will remain a wonderful memory. But it was also the opportunity to work with around thirty teachers from different martial arts disciplines. More than 400 students found themselves on the tatami mats. More than ten countries were present, such as Canada, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, Morocco, Czechoslovakia, Austria, France, Germany…
On the occasion of this course and following a grade upgrade, renshi Georges Mourgaud, the club's teacher, legend of goshindo in France, received his 6th dan from the hands of hanshi master Alain Sailly.
Meet at the Fitou multipurpose room on Wednesday and Friday evenings to discover and practice this martial art of self-defense.
