An exhibition anchored in skate culture
Other information to note: skate culture is at the heart of the exhibition Attention, Fragile !which highlights the newly released book Skateboard Culture, written by the duo Morgan Bouvant et Sébastien Carayol. It is perhaps the most comprehensive work ever published to date on the history of skateboarding, this sport originating in California and considered a subculture in its own right. In the press release, it is noted that “for Sarah Andelman, skateboarding is a source of creative inspiration”. Thus, throughout the rooms, vintage boards are presented according to the decade to which they belong. They are surrounded by an installation imagined by Raphaël Zarkaa keen skateboard artist who focuses on the technical, economic and ethical aspects of the sector, photographs of Fred Mortagne and artist skateboards customized for the occasion.
