Saturday December 7, the Lamano Festival will return for a second winter edition. Located in Ris-Orangis, the event will combine the arts in the form of workshops, concerts and exhibitions at Le Plan, from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Lamano Festival: culture accessible to all

Created in 2016 by the Liuban association, the Lamano Festival aims to be a bridge between several points. Between the suburbs and the heart of the capital, between populations and culture, in short, it's a real moment of sharing around the arts!

This spirit of communion, inclusiveness, ecology and accessibility will be the key words of the event. Thanks to its interactive offerings, Lamano Festival will allow everyone to escape from their daily lives and discover new passions.

Le Lamano Festival au Plan

December 7 will take place the second winter version of the festival, Plan. The Ris-Orangis performance hall will be adorned with an eco-responsible scenography and will host several highlights.

The festival will open with a screening of the documentary “-22.7°, beyond silence” which will retrace the producer's epic journey. Molecule in the Arctic, followed by a discussion with the artist. An introduction to mixing will be provided by Vickies of the Venus Club, MAO workshops by Loop Sessions while the “Tales of Rave” photo exhibition will show the atmosphere of free parties.

Electronic and eclectic programming

These artists will also be on stage to take the audience on a journey between Jamaica and modern Western sounds, the common thread of this edition.

Moleculein addition to his film, will present his new album “R-201” live. After using ice sounds, they will bring warmth to the track with vocals from Caribbean artists.

True descendants of Jamaican sound systems, Asian Dub Foundation will come to celebrate his thirty-year career. Between jungle rhythms and dub bass, the London group will make the dancers skank.

The program will be completed by two members of the Venus Club: Lucia Loot for breakbeat and jungle, and Saint Exp for melodic techno. Members of the Lamano Festival will also play the turntables for the opening and closing of the concerts.
