The Lady of Stone is an ambitious historical spectacle, performed in part by volunteers, in the same spirit as the Cinéscénie of Puy du Fou or Beauty and the Beast at Maison-Lafitte. This show traces the fascinating history of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, an adventure that began in 1163 and is marked by several centuries of significant events.
Designed by Corentin Stemler, who himself participated as a volunteer in the Puy du Fou shows, The Lady of Stone features an original soundtrack composed by Richard Liégeois, also composer for productions at Puy du Fou.
The show The Lady of Stone takes place in a setting 10 meters high, and around a hundred people on stage: enough to impress young and old! In this historical fresco, Corentin Stemler tells the history of the cathedral from its creation to today.
The Notre-Dame de Paris cathedrala masterpiece of Gothic architecture, is one of the most emblematic monuments in France. Built between 1163 and 1345 on the Île de la Cité, it has spanned the ages and played a central role in the history of Paris. Notre Dameknown for its architectural beauty and technical innovations, was unfortunately damaged on April 15, 2019 by a major fire.
