To support the development of its activity in Reunion, the MALERBA DISTRIBUTION network will soon move to a larger building, located near its current location. During construction, the latter has been studied to meet the operational needs of the brand; it will allow the network to double its storage capacity on the island and expand its offering for the greatest benefit of its customers.
In order to continue its regional development, Bruno MALERBA, President of the MALERBA company and owner of the MALERBA DISTRIBUTION network, acquired a plot of land near the current premises of MALERBA DISTRIBUTION Ocean Industrie in order to launch the construction of a whole new building. The latter will accommodate future offices, presentation and storage spaces and will strengthen the presence of the network throughout the area to offer more services. The investment and acquisition of a machining center is also planned in order to meet market demand and offer finishing services identical to most MALERBA DISTRIBUTION in the metropolis. It should be noted that the total investment amounts to more than 6 million euros and will generate 3 job creations for the completion activity and administration.
The future building will have a surface area of approximately 1800 m² including 1600 m² of storage and 200 m² of offices and presentation spaces. It will be equipped with photovoltaic panels on the roof for an installed power of 500 KWp.
The project was entrusted to Ocidim, the Reunion subsidiary of Vinci. At the time of marketing, the construction project included two adjoining buildings, one intended to house the next premises of MALERBA DISTRIBUTION Océan Allemand, the other intended to be rented and constituting a reserve for possible future needs. . The work started in August 2024. Bruno MALERBA testifies to the good progress of the project: “ The work is in line with the announced schedule, the earthworks phase has been completed and the structural work has begun. The building is scheduled for delivery in October 2025. This will allow us to move and begin activity in the new premises in the fall of 2025.. »
After the opening of MALERBA DISTRIBUTION Grand Est near Strasbourg at the end of last year, MALERBA DISTRIBUTION continues with this establishment to consolidate its network to develop a strong presence in the different regions of France, always with the objective of providing a service proximity and in-depth expertise in the field of technical door units.
« Today, MALERBA DISTRIBUTION Océan Allemand is installed in premises that we rent. We are constrained by space. Since its launch at the end of 2018, the development of the activity has been encouraging but is limited by the storage capacity of the current site. This is why I purchased neighboring land. The future building will offer twice as much space as the current premises. This will allow us to stock a larger number of references, strengthen our development and acquire a machining center to be able to offer a wider range of services to our customers.
