On the economic activity zone (ZAE) intercommunal from Pucheuil to Saint-Saëns (Seine-Maritime), land, formerly belonging to an individual, has become of public interest and therefore, buildable.
It is here that 200 jobs will emerge thanks to the arrival of a company
A strategic area
And in fact, a company has already purchased the plot to settle there but no start date for worksnor opening, is not yet defined since the project is only in its early stages.
“We will know more in 2025”, specifies Christophe Delachair, commercial director of the company.
What is certain is that the site has many advantages, as the mayor points out, Karine Hunkeler.
It is a strategic area for businesses, between Rouen, Amiens, Abbeville and Dieppe.
200 jobs created
These are the buildings of the ARGAN company, specializing in the development and rental of logistics platforms, which should soon appear on the ZAE.
In accordance with the Community of communes Bray Eawythe company will hand over some plots to two of the companies already present in the ZAE but which would like to expand.
There will be recruitment in the logistics construction sector.
And if the company arrives with its customers, at least 200 jobs will still be created thanks to this new location.
A project of general interest
This project, although carried out by a private operator, falls under thegeneral interest.
“It will make it possible, among other things, to complete the offer and the network of local companies, to expand certain companies already established and to contribute to the development of local employment,” argues Karine Hunkeler.
But it is also an opportunity for the municipality since part of the plot belongs to the municipality.
In order for the company to be able to set up, it is therefore necessary to purchase this additional plot of 9,344 m², estimated at €50,000 with a margin of appreciation of 10%.
And it was unanimously that the municipal council validated this upcoming sale.
A decision that delighted Karine Hunkeler: “This is very good news for the municipality! »
