The 8th round match of the French Football Cup was to pit the Aigles d'Or de Mana team (Regional 2) against US Thionvile Lusitanos (N2). However, the Federal Commission for Regulations and Litigation, referred to by AS Étoile de Matoury (Regional 1) awarded the match lost by penalty to the Aigles d'Or de Mana.
The poster for this Saturday, November 30 at 8:00 p.m. (French time) therefore opposes AS Étoile de Matoury, reigning champion of Guyana l'US Thionville Portuguese, Moselle club. The match will be played at the Edmard Lama stadium in Rémire-Montjoly (Guyana).
On paper, the advantage goes to the Lorraine club which plays in Nationale 2. But Étoile de Matoury, champion of Guyana, has the home advantage and is counting on its supporters to hold off Thionvillois.
