The October 23, 2024a pharmacist from Granville (Manche) spotted a falsified prescription.

To obtain it, he bought a fake prescription online, for 50 euros, on the letterhead of a doctor in Vannes.
Around fifty copies were discovered in his car.
Since May, 65 pharmacies have been contacted, including around fifteen in central Manche. Some had doubts and refused to serve the medicine.
The young man put drugs on sale via Snapchat, and created a channel on Telegram to promote narcotics.
He found himself in the presence of difficulties, such as in Longueville on the night of October 21 to 22, 2024.
A customer had paid him with counterfeit €50 notes. Helped by two friends, the young man forced the customer to strip, hit him, filmed and broadcast the video. In addition, he was driving without a driver's license and without insurance.
Two years in prison
For the prosecutor, drug trafficking represents 23 million euros in 2023. This is an attack on the national solidarity structures that are the CPAMs. He requested a two-year prison sentence.
The court took into account the treatment undertaken by the defendant since his incarceration on October 25, and sentenced the defendant to a sentence of 18 months in prison, including 9 months with a probationary suspension of 2 years. He will have to work and take care of himself.
He is prohibited from making contact with his minor accomplice, and from appearing in the Manche department. He will have to pay €790 to the CPAM of Morbihan and €1,000 to the doctor whose prescription was falsified.
